Mark Antares | Retrowave Rock with a Bluesy Heart

From the gritty indie rock stages of Salt Lake City to the neon-soaked energy of Las Vegas, Mark Antares has spent over a decade defining a sound that refuses to stay in one lane. A world-class multi-instrumentalist and producer, Antares first made waves with the high-octane electro-house of Pantheon Escape, but his evolution has led him back to the soul of the desert.

His signature style—Retrowave Desert Rock—is a cinematic collision of fuzzed-out guitars, analog synths, and the atmospheric pulse of Vaporwave. This sound was perfected on his debut album, Evergreen, which has already garnered thousands of streams on Spotify and SoundCloud. Hits like "Silhouette Skyline" and "Endless Summer Daze" showcase his ability to blend sultry vocals with 2 AM neon vibes, creating a soundtrack for the midnight drive.

Having overcome significant personal struggles, Mark’s music is fueled by a deep-seated mission: to create joy and offer listeners the same motivation that kept him moving forward. Whether it's the grit of the desert or the lush textures of a stormy meadow, Mark Antares crafts music that resonates with the heart and moves the soul.

The momentum doesn't stop there: his 2026 breakout track "Lost in a Loop" has quickly become a fan favorite, while his collaboration with Synthbuster on the hit "Ultracassette" continues to climb the playlists. With a massive growing presence on SoundCloud and signature tracks like "Silhouette Skyline" and "Endless Summer Daze," Mark Antares is more than a producer—he’s a sonic storyteller dedicated to bringing joy and motivation to a global audience.

A Note from Mark

If you’ve made it this far down the page, thank you.

Music has always been my way of processing the world. Whether I was navigating the indie scene in Salt Lake or finding my footing in the neon hum of Las Vegas, the songs were the only thing that stayed constant. To those of you who have been with me since the Sodacon days—thank you. Your support during that long-time project provided the foundation for everything I am creating now. You saw the 'indie heart' before it met the 'neon desert,' and I'm so grateful you're still here for this next chapter.

There have been seasons where the struggle felt louder than the music, but those are the moments that ultimately gave Evergreen its heart. I don’t just make this music for the beat; I make it for the person driving home at 2 AM, looking for a bit of clarity in the noise.

By pre-saving the new single or joining my inner circle, you aren’t just 'following an artist'—you’re becoming part of the engine that keeps this independent journey moving.

Stay wild,

— Mark
